34th UNAA Convention

INTRODUCING OUR GUEST SPEAKERS AT THE 34TH UNAA SANFRANCISCO CONVENTION.

Dear UNAA Family and Friends,

UNAA is pleased to welcome back our guest speaker and sponsor Mr. Michael Mugabi, the Managing Director at Housing Finance Bank.

Mr. Michael. K. Mugabi is the Managing Director of Housing Finance Bank in Uganda; he comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Banking, Housing & Legal Sectors in Uganda, and his tenure spans over a 25 year period.

As a Managing Director, Michael offers strategic oversight and business leadership to Housing Finance Bank. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director, he served as Executive Director of the Bank where he provided oversight to critical functions like Credit, Information Technology and Bank Operations during a crucial transition period that saw the Bank successfully transform from a mortgage banking institution to a full-fledged commercial banking entity.

Over the years, Michael has been closely involved in shaping key financial solutions designed to invigorate and spur the growth and development of the housing sector in Uganda.

Michael is a Fellow of the Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in the United Kingdom and currently serves as President of the Institute of Corporate Governance of Uganda (ICGU), both accreditations that draw upon his years of experience when he served as Company Secretary of the Bank.

UNAA is honored to welcome its partner Housing Finance Bank.

Sincerely,

Henrietta Nairuba Wamala
