President and CEO
Serving as the the President and CEO of the Ugandan North American Association (UNAA), the oldest and largest Ugandan diaspora organization. Based in Dallas, Texas, he has been a dedicated member for over 15 years, previously serving as Executive Secretary. His leadership focuses on unity, inclusivity, and the TITAN initiative, which integrates trade, investment, and technology to empower the diaspora and foster sustainable economic progress across North America.
Georgina Nyakairu Kirunda
Vice President
Serving as the Vice President of the Ugandan North American Association (UNAA). With a background in Public Health (M.P.H), she has previously served as the Director of Development and a Regional Representative. Her leadership focuses on community unity, resource mobilization, and strengthening repatriation and insurance programs for the diaspora.
Shantal Mbabazi
Executive Secretary
Serving as the Executive Secretary of the Ugandan North American Association (UNAA). A dedicated member for over 15 years, she is recognized for her exceptional community mobilization and inclusive leadership. Her work focuses on fostering unity, progress, and community-driven initiatives to empower the Ugandan diaspora across North America.
Allan Mugisa

Serving as the Treasurer of the Ugandan North American Association (UNAA). A finance professional with a Doctorate in Business Administration, he specializes in financial analysis and business modeling. His leadership focuses on ensuring financial transparency, operational efficiency, and sustainable economic empowerment for the Ugandan diaspora across North America.
Victoria Kyakuwa Mbabaali
Director of Youth & Children
Serving as the the Director of Youth & Children for the Ugandan North American Association (UNAA). She is a community leader, healthcare professional, and an advocate for children, youth, women, and families with over 20 years of mentorship experience. Her Wells Of Happiness brand builds bridges through arts, culturally grounded identity development, educational encouragement, leadership programs, and mental wellness support. Through her brand, she also supports older adults as they age gracefully while empowering women to pursue healthcare careers. Victoria’s background includes training in behavioral health and respiratory therapy, giving her a deep understanding of emotional and physical well-being. Her passion is helping individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered at every stage of life.
Hon. Paul Richard Nteyafa
Director of Development
Serving as the the Director of Development, leading diaspora engagement and resource mobilization across North America. With over 20 years of community service, he serves as President of the 90Day North American Resettlement Program (2019–present), supporting new immigrants through integration and empowerment services. He also leads KND Estate Diaspora Village Construction Company, overseeing diaspora-driven housing and infrastructure development. As Former UNAA Rocky Mountain Representative (2019–2023), Paul championed community programs and diaspora development across the region.
Joshua Eyaru
Director of IT & Communications
Serving as the the Director of IT & Communications for the Ugandan North American Association (UNAA). A senior technology professional with a Master’s in Computer Science, he leverages over 15 years of experience in software engineering and Google Workspace management to modernize the diaspora’s digital infrastructure and communication strategies.

Jocelyn Luzige

Jocelyn Luzige is the Founder & CEO of Sheroes Uganda, empowering women in underserved communities. She champions United Nations SDGs 3, 4, and 5, focusing on health, education, and gender equality, especially expanding girls’ education access in Uganda.
She is also a Pastor, team leader at Sheroes Ministries, and a devoted mentor impacting youth through biblical teaching. A women’s rights advocate, philanthropist, author, and dynamic speaker, she remains committed to uplifting women and girls to live with dignity, purpose, and confidence.

A dedicated mental health specialist serving youth in Georgia, committed to serving people of all ages and strengthening his community. He also coaches soccer for the Atlanta Cranes, where he mentors youth both on and off the field. A respected leader, David is a former Georgia UNAA Chapter President and currently serves as National UNAA Representative for the Southeast Region. He is highly regarded among his peers and the community he serves.
