Official UNAA Statement on the Terrorist Attacks in Kampala
The Ugandan North American Association condemns strongly the coordinated terrorist suicide attacks that happened in central Kampala today 11/16/2021.
We condole with all the families of those killed, and we wish a speedy recovery to those injured and ask the Lord for protection of those that guard and protect the country from these senseless terrorist attacks. We also ask all Ugandan Citizenry to rise up to the occasion vigilantly and patriotically condemn the violence and killings by the ADF terror groups operating in the DRC.
We would like to thank the State for quickly and swiftly apprehending the culprits and we continue to ask that the Ugandan Citizenry are protected as they continue to cater for their livelihood and from any future terrorist attacks. As we head into the holiday season and with many of our members travelling, we strongly advise our members to be conscious of their surroundings and also alert law enforcement of any suspicious terror attack activities.
Do not forget to register yourselves at the US Embassy if you are US Citizens and Green Card holders.
We ask our Ugandan brethren to work with law enforcement in identifying any culprits that are still at large for the good of our country and also be on the lookout for any suspicious activity.
This is a time to come together regardless of religion, political affiliation, race, gender or tribe and rally behind a common cause which is protect Uganda. The time is now to work together and protect Ugandans from Terrorists.
