Aisha received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is currently a registered nurse at John Peter Smith Hospital in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit, a position she has held for the past ten years. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing for Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Aisha served as the Executive Secretary of UNAA from 2013-2015. She also doubled as the Vice-Chairperson and Committee Lead for the Forum and Programs Committee of the Convention Organizing Committee for the UNAA Dallas Convention in 2013. Ms. Aisha has also served as the Secretary for the Uganda American Association for the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth (UAA-DFW). In this role She is duly credited for reinstating the organization’s good standing with the Secretary of State of Texas. Ms. Aisha also served as a member of the Board for UAA-DFW.
