The Electoral Commission (often referred to as the EC) is UNAA’s election body, an independent organization established under Article 9.1 of the UNAA Constitution. The EC’s main function is to organize, conduct elections as well as announcing election results.

Members are appointed by the UNAA Board of Trustees and confirmed with the advice and consent of the UNAA Council. The members of the EC are full members of the Association in good standing of high ethical standards and represent all the demographics of the Association. In carrying out its duties, the EC will abide by the UNAA Constitution.

Pursuant to the UNAA Constitution and the 2023 UNAA Electoral Commission Processes and Guidelines, the Electoral Commission has completed  its mandated obligation  of  certifying candidates  and would like to announce that the  2023 UNAA campaigns are now officially open.

To meet the costs associated with the electoral process, there will be a non-refundable nomination and certification fee. All fees should be paid directly to the UNAA treasurer on the UNAA WEBSITE.
