The UNAA executive team is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization and ensuring that it fulfills its mandate and achieves its goals. Overall, the executive team is responsible for ensuring that the organization operates in a responsible and effective manner, while upholding its mission, values, and mandate. They work collaboratively with other members and the UNAA Council to achieve UNAA’s goals and objectives.

In addition to best practices, the UNAA bylaws outline the executive committee’s specific duties and responsibilities. The UNAA Executive  plays a strong advisory role and they’re responsible for ensuring strong executive leadership.

It is the responsibility of each UNAA Council Member to carry out Community outreach, provide support, and mobilize UNAA members and or member organizations in their respective regions. Additionally, each Representative must submit a quarterly report to the Speaker of the UNAA Council outlining their activities and those of UNAA in their region. All UNAA Council Members are expected to fulfill their governance and fiduciary responsibilities in a professional and timely manner.
