My name is Norah Aliyah Namuyanja, a resident of Toronto, Ontario Canada.

I have been an active UNAA member since 2017, I am currently serving in my local community as Female Youth Representative. I have also volunteered with other organizations such as the New Canadians in Toronto as well as PTMOF a non-profit organization (during my term of service I was given an opportunity to work with the community during COVID-19 difficult times and delivered necessities to personals that were affected).

Through this period a number of individuals in our community did not know what UNAA stands for, hence giving our team the opportunity to teach and spread awareness to people about the Uganda North American Association. As the Canadian Representative, I plan to improve the engagement of the elderly and Youth in UNAA through different mobilization strategies and outreach.
