Goodevening UNAA and Diaspora Family at Large,
I am happy to have represented UNAA and Uganda at Large together with Mrs. Busie Matsiko-Andan as she recieved the Community Impact Award from The Society for Africans in the Diaspora (SAID) Institute African Diaspora Awards program. Many thanks to the Founder and Executive Director Debo Folorunsho for giving us this platform.
Mrs. Matsiko-Andan was the 1st UNAA Youth Representative and later represented her local community in various facets. She ventured into other Diaspora & Afro communities where she has made meaningful impact through successful networking. She is a global strategist, and CEO of Pont Global where she successfully scales and grows companies. Busie currently is a Trustee at Berkley College and has made History as the 1st Black woman to hold that position.
Other Award Recipients included Angelique Kidjo, Lady Marieme Jamme, Chinwe Esimai, Dr Olurotimi John Badero and many others.
I was honored alongside Berkeley’s President Dr Diane Recinos to present Busie with her Award tonight.
Congratulations Busie UNAA and Uganda at Large celebrates this Milestone with you.
Sincerely,
Henrietta Nairuba Wamala
