Below is a step-by-step process for our Ugandan Conventioneers:
- Go to a Postbank near you and ask for UNAA Deposit Slips or ask for someone who handles UNAA registration matters;
2023 UNAA Convention Registration Guidelines
UNAA CONVENTION REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR UGANDAN ATTENDEES
- Pay Your Registration Fee:
*$210 (Prices go up in February)*
NOTE: *Early Bird Registration $180* is only available for Members in North America and paying online at:
unaaonline.org/unaa-convention-dallas-2023
For Vendors, Vendor Fees are as follows:
* $500 Premium Vendor* (Registration Included)
* $300 Standard Vendor* (Limited Availability)
- Postbank will then notify the UNAA Executive of the Registration payment and an Invitation letter will be issued and sent to the payee.
- The Payee then follows the Non-immigrant Visa Application process on the US Embassy Website to apply and generate a deposit slip. Print the deposit slip and take it to Centenary Bank to make a payment for a Visa Interview.
After 24-48hours, the Payee can then schedule an Interview appointment. (Interview Dates tend to be overbooked, so be prepared to reschedule your interview to an Earlier Date)
- The Payee then prepares for his/her Interview.

Upon making the payment, we shall send you an invitation letter for use at the embassy. Please visit the convention page https://unaaonline.org/unaa-dallas-2023/ to make the payment or visit a post bank branch near you to make a payment incase you cant use VISA or Mastercard.

Convention registration doesnt qualify you to become a unaa member.
You have to pay for unaa membership as a separate entity.

Once you pay, you will get an invitation letter that you will use at the embassy interview.

You might be required to travel back and do the visa interview in Uganda.

A student is anyone going or currently enrolled in school with proof of a student ID.

27 Feb 2023 - 09:04The convention fees are paid on a yearly convention basis, Kindly wait and make the payment for next years convention if you wont be able to have a visa appointment for this year.
Once payments made for the current year are finalized, refunds will not be issued. Remember UNAA has no control over the embassy issuance of visas or policies.

Kindly note that you should avoid over staying your visa as it may cause future immigration issues.
You can travel anywhere in the USA as long as your granted period of stay by US immigration has not expired.
