Ugandan National ID Updates

🚨 *Community Alert !!!* 🚨

*Consular Service Closures over Idd El Fitr Holiday*

*Attention all Passport and National ID applicants.*

As you may be aware Idd Celebrations to mark the end of the Ramadhan Season are dependent on the sighting of the moon. This may fall on Monday May 2nd or Tuesday May 3rd.

This is to advise applicants whose appointments were scheduled either for Monday May 2nd or Tuesday May 3rd, to be on the alert for closure announcements of Embassy Consular services in respect of the Idd holiday.

Applicants affected by the sudden closures will be given priority the next business day on condition they arrive at the Embassy by 9am to allow for rescheduling.

Applicants unable to make it after 10am will be asked to reschedule their appointments

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Henrietta Nairuba Wamala
