Ugandan North American Association Mourns

UNAA MOURNS ITS MEMBER AND COMMUNITY LEADER

Dear UNAA and Diaspora Family at Large,

It is with heavy hearts that we wake up to this somber morning and announce the passing of Maama Robinah Katende, beloved wife of Pastor Katende of the Global Evangelical Church in the Ugandan Community in Boston.

Maama Robinah was a dedicated member of the Ugandan community in Boston and a devoted wife and mother. She will always be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith.

Her love and compassion touched the lives of many in Uganda, USA, Canada, and beyond, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

There will be a gathering at 34 Linnell Circle Billerica, MA at 3pm Eastern time today 6/16/23 and more details will be communicated to you. All are welcome to join in honoring her memory and paying their respects.

We at UNAA are shocked and devastated at the passing of Maama Katende and pray that her soul rests in eternal peace.

Sincerely,

Henrietta Nairuba Wamala

President & CEO, UNAA on behalf of the Ugandan North American Association Leadership.
